Haig is the author of both fiction and non-fiction for children and adults. He grew up in the Nottinghamshire town of Newark and later went on to study English and History at the University of Hull. Haig was born on 3 July 1975 in Sheffield. He has written both fiction and non-fiction books for children and adults, often in the speculative fiction genre.
